HOME OFFICE REMODEL
DESIGN APPROACH
Our client was interested in turning her boring home office into a room she could spend the entire day in. The following services were provided during the planning and execution of this project:
- Design consultation
- Planning meetings (3+)
- Coordination with carpenter (creation and installation of nook bookcase upper)
- In collaboration with client preferences, selection and purchasing of design elements, including executive desk, desk chair, half-wall beadboard, paint, wallpaper, mirror, cabinet base, bookcase decor, desk lamp and other accessories, cord organization tools, overhead light fixture, curtains and curtain rod, area rug
- Installation and painting of half-wall beadboard and installation of wallpaper
- Installation of curtain rod and curtains
- Assembly of executive desk, desk chair
- Painting, caulking, and styling of cabinet and upper bookcase, including cabinet hardware installation and finishing of butcher block tabletop
- Removal of old fan and installation of new overhead light fixture
- Special finishing touches unique to the client and staging for design reveal at conclusion of project
