DESIGN APPROACH

Our client was interested in modernizing her outdated kitchen but wasn’t sure where to begin! That’s where Tara Design Collective came in. The following services were provided during the planning and execution of this project:

  • Design consultation

  • Planning meetings (5+)

  • Coordination with vendors (recessed lighting and pendant lights; appliance delivery and haul away; countertop removal and installation; faucet and sink replacement, backsplash installation)

  • In collaboration with client preferences, selection and purchasing of design elements, including backsplash tile, grout, faucet, sink, marble countertop, kitchen island, light fixtures, kitchen appliances, cabinet paint and hardware

  • Replacement of outlets and outlet covers (from almond to black)

  • Per client wishes, selection and purchasing of additional kitchen tools, including dinnerware set, cutlery set, pots/pans set, mixing bowls, organization canisters, and other organizational and design elements

  • Removal of old cabinet doors; measuring and ordering of new, unfinished cabinet doors; painting of new cabinet doors and existing cabinetry frame; selection and installation of cabinetry hardware; installation of new cabinet doors

  • Organization of existing kitchen items to maximize space utility and flow

  • Special finishing touches unique to the client and staging for design reveal at conclusion of project
